We collect only the personal data we need to run the marketplace, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- Account details: email address and a securely hashed password.
- Supplier details: company name, GST number, address, contact person, phone and verification documents.
- Buyer details: delivery addresses and order history.
- Messages you send through the contact form.
Card details are entered on our payment provider's page. hy-gen never sees or stores them.
How we use it
- To verify suppliers, process orders, send invoices and answer your messages.
- To keep the platform secure, for example by detecting repeated failed sign-ins.
Who can see it
When you place an order, the supplier receives your delivery address. Supplier documents are private: only the supplier and our admin team can open them. Contact-form messages are also stored in HubSpot, the tool our team uses to reply to enquiries. We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect forms.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data. Contact us and we will reply by email.
